Skincare Clinic Services - PRP with Microneedling
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Microneedling combines the collagen-stimulating benefits of microneedling with the healing power of your own blood's platelets. During treatment, a small blood sample is drawn and spun to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied to the skin as the microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels. TREATMENT
Microneeding appointments usually are about an hour long, but can take longer depending on the treatment.
Before the treatment process, your skin will be prepped and cleaned. Then, a topical numbing will be applied and left on for 30 minutes. After the numbing is removed, the area will be cleaned. Microneedling treatments can take 30-45 minutes depending on which area is being treatment. The procedure itself has minimal to no discomfort, with little downtime and low risk for adverse outcomes. The best results are seen in as few as 3 treatments. Post procedure pinkness to redness, much like a mild to moderate sunburn can be expected afterward. The most common treatment related effects were dryness, itching, peeling, and tenderness resolving over time without further complications.
